Of Lambs & Lions

Of Lions And LambsOf Lambs & Lions is a site dedicated to helping busy and stay at home Christians (and men and women of all walks!) connect and learn about God’s Word. Whether you’re strapped for time or have extra time to spare, you can strengthen your faith and deepen your relationship with God through the bible studies here and through the amazing resources talked about in blog posts and on the resource page. What I hope to do is help others like me who want to learn but have questions, who want fellowship but are busy or usually stay at home, and who just want to grow in their faith on a schedule they can take charge of. Whatever reason brings you here I hope your visit blesses you and you take a look around!

Hello! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I genuinely enjoy reading your posts.

Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that deal with the same subjects?

Thank you so much! That made my day!
I’m a big fan of avirtuouswoman.org, thehumbledhomemaker.com and imperfecthomemaker.com -they’re all done by great women and have amazing posts. And those are just three off the top of my head that I visit often, I know there are a ton more that I’ve found on Pinterest alone that are wonderful sites that have many of the same topics as these.
      Thanks so much for visiting!

    Dear Deborah,

Thank you for creating this website. I want to grow in my faith in God as sometimes I have felt I strayed so far I feel lost, confused, and unsure of myself and my abilities. Sometimes I ask why is God silent or is He really there when I need Him most.

    Thanking you,

It’s so tough when it feels like the distance has grown between us and God and when He feels like He’s not there. I always think in those moments of the story of Jacob- over years and years his death was faked, he was sold into slavery twice, he was put in jail- but through all of those hardships when he must have felt that God had forgotten about him he was really being taken to the place where he needed to end up. It’s hard when you’re in the moment, and so easy to see when you’re on the other side of the hardship looking back at how it shaped you and brought you to a better place. Stay strong in you’re faith and God bless you! I’m so glad you enjoyed the site and I hope something spoke to you!
